Meta is when someone acts overly self-aware and performative just to look good, often playing the “I’m so honest” card while subtly throwing their friends under the bus to avoid blame. A pick-me strategy disguised as reflection.
After the group project failed, Alex got all meta about it and somehow turned everyone else’s mistakes into a lesson about personal growth.
