A fun, non-formal relationship between 2-3 people who are hooking up. Differs from a booty call as hangin’ out can include conversation, cuddling, back scratches and massages. Differs from dating as the participants are not officially a couple (or threesome). While hangin’ out, condoms should always be used.
"Hangin' out" - She said they were "Hangin’ out" because he made her smile and she made him smile when they were together through a variety of actions, but there was no pressure on either party to be an official couple.
