Jim ear 

The throbbing, burning sensation you get in your ear after a very long phone call from somebody who just won't stop talking- usually called Jim. It is worse when the person on the other end speaks quietly, making you push the phone hard into your ear to listen.

- That call lasted 90 mins, my ear is throbbing.
