Cringy is when something is just so unpleasant that it makes you literally cringe. This term is commonly used by the One Direction fandom when they are describing "carroty" things.

"Have you seen her tweet about Louis loving carrots?"
"OMG YEAH IT WAS SO CRINGY!!"
