When two people are walking toward each other and in an attempt to get out of each others way they both move to the same side resulting in an awkward dance of sorts.

guy1: i just had a walkenshloffen in the hallway
guy2: wow that's awkward
guy1: yeah we kept on stepping into each others way... i hate walking.
