noun. A hat worn by people of the "urban" culture, who perpetuate the modern sterotype of the african american youth. It is a baseball cap with a flat visor, occasionally displaying logos such as FUBU, or sesame street characters.

That niggah just stole my coon cap! I'ma call the cops so they can arrest him and put him in a coon cab!
