An altveggie (alternative vegetarian) is a vegetarian who always stick to their vegetarian principles except where hot bacon rolls, bacon sandwiches and bacon flavoured potato chips are concerned. We've all met them :-).

(You) Hey sis, how come you are eating a bacon roll? I thought you were a strict vegetarian?

(Sis) When it comes to bacon, I'm an altveggie.
