Lombard (AKA Lompton), the village of Lilacs, where the mood is easy and so are the sluts from Glenbard East. The town is full of good catholics, all from Montini. The pride and joy of Lombard is Lilacia Park where there is a glorious display of assorted bushes and flowers but most importantly, the Lilacs of Lombard. The most important part of lombard is Sacred Heart School, located right on the corner of Elizabeth and Maple. The kids who attended this school rule all of Lombard. Everyone thinks they're punk skaters until the end of 8th grade and everyone plays park district soccer at least once. All you Lombard alums will remember Lombard Lanes, the glass bank, and the historical movie theater, all of which are town down now. If you live in Lombard you will find yourself drawn to Cruise Nights every Saturday during the summertime, and once a year to the Taste of Lombard to watch their glorious display of fireworks (voted #1 fireworks presentation in DuPage County) presented to you on the 4th of july. All of these activities are fun, but nothing compared to the Lilac Parade where one can see the diversity of lombard strewn down main street. Wanna hear more about this glorious town?
