A fanboy who is ashamed to be enthusiastic and excited about a product or property because it makes them feel nerdy. Usually they gang up on the fanboys on blogs, reviews, and chat rooms.

The Closet Fanboys were out in full force today on Amazon hating the new Star Wars special edition Blu-ray release.

A secret Fanboy. Someone who is secretly a fanboy but who feigns disgust for a product or property because they feel too nerdy to admit true fanboy love.

The fanbaby's attacked the few fanboys on the Tron legacy blogs for showing real enthusiasm.
