Used to fill a gap between two statements, the former statement is a fact/ observation and the latter is a conclusion based on the former.

Similar to therefore, hence & ergo and a combination of the first & the third

Usually stated in haste (e.g. while presenting to your boss, or arguing with your best friend, or speaking in public with a faulty mic)
