1.) Place where ridiculously talented people may be found.
2.) Extreme or busy place. Crazy hectic spot.

Used primarily in larger cities, Where as "mad" is an appropriate replacement for Northern California's or Colorado's "hella" and Boston's "wicked." In the common vernacular, it translates into "a lot" or "extremely."

This place is goin off... its a complete mad haus, you gotta come down!

There were a grip of Hot Cirque Du Soeil performers there.. what a mad haus!
