in reference to someone's attitude/character. someone is considered amish if they are cheap or always looking for a bargin. (usually known and used in areas where amish are close by because one better understands their stereotypical temperament).

man 1: "that item is not for sale, but for the right price, i will consider it"
man 2: "you're so amish"
