N.E.C stands for "No Effort Club". This club is for people who enjoy low maintenance relationships/friendships, and in turn are low maintenance. We do not like drama or stress- just easygoingness.

Friend 1: Sally is not talking to me again, she is so high maintence.
Friend 2: Join N.E.C is friendship without the effort.
Friend 1: OMG N.E.C sounds sick.
