That chaotic urge to pick the hardest, messiest, most emotionally taxing option available — even when there’s a smooth, drama-free alternative just chilling right there. Not outta nobility or some hero complex, but because your brain apparently has a kink for struggle.

Used to signify the mental urge to pick the inherently negative options even if they lead to an inherently bad outcome.
