Used in Australian vernacular as an endearing term or condescending to describe someone else's silly or frivolous behaviour. Derives from Old English; synonyms such as scamp and scally on the Cambridge website apparently lol. But here we just use it to describe anyone who's a bit of a loose cannon. Someone who drums to their own beat, Or has been ON one recently.
"Have you seen Jamíes' story recently? She's gone so rogue."

Objectively, "I have never seen/thought/heard of doing it that way; that's a bit rogue..."
"Oh my godddd you should have seen Tommy after you left. Rogue cunt drunk half the beer(^ccase, but 12 isn't enough beers for everyone)"
