whispersation

When two or more people are having a very private discussion in a very public place at a very low volume, usually to the extreme annoyance of anyone who isn't involved.

Whispersations take place primarily at the office, at the movies, in school libraries, at church, or other places where people are traditionally focused and on-task. Participants are almost always female. Whispersations generate very minimal noise and are quiet enough to be unintelligible to outside parties, yet still irritate and distract said outside parties to the point of insanity.
Ashley and Joanne were having an epic whispersation right next to my cube this morning. I couldn't get anything done until after lunch.
