Someon who likes metal music, would wear tight jeans, have long hair and eyeliner along with band t shirts. you had to be anorexic to be a mosher/emo. They were hated by chavs who were seen as more rough scruffy people more prone to being on the warpath, moshers would just mind their own. I remember a pubI used to go to and on at least one occasion a gang of chavs were trying to intimidate us all by staring, just waiting for an excuse to start a fight or an argument (what you lookin at bruv?) I also remember a kid at school saying to me are you a mosher ten times demanding an answer and I felt uneasy. I also remember another asking me where concerts were so he could start fights in mosh pits. Needless to say, neither of them became friends. It is funny looking back because nobody uses these terms anymore. As teenagers for me (2004-2010 roughly) everyone had to be labelled. Kind of ridiculous really. Me and a friend have had this discussion, I said nobody uses the terminology anymore and he observed that maybe they do and we just do not hear it because we do not hang out with 16 year olds. True but if you look on this website how many other entries than this are from December 2025? Most will be 2004-2010 roughly. I could go on but this website does not nearly allow enough words.
Are you a mosher? A lot of mosher kids from college hang out in town (not necessarily an insult). Ye I was a bit of a mosher. I wore band tees and always had my headphones in.
