to block someone during a debate by obstructing the audience's view of them (especially if you are taller and/or larger than your opponent and are able to block view of them completely).

It is a little-known fact that Abraham Lincoln's extensive use of pullywogging against John Breckenridge during their presidential debates is the main contributing factor towards Lincoln's victory.
