originally meaning, "Silently Masturbating During Homework", smdh now means "Shaking My Damn Head". You could argue it still means the same thing.

A: I always smdh, especially when studying for finals
B: oh, you shake your damn head cuz studying's so stressful.
A: um, sure, lets go with that.
