An acknowledgment of a fact, implying indifference or low-level disdain. Like the CB radio term "10-4", but of mundane or slightly annoying real-life situations.

Local Man: "Hey Area Man, wake up! You've gotta be at work in half an hour!"

Area Man: "Gewld."
