A colloquial creative concept describing the fear that when one artist has a strong or innovative idea, another equally talented creator might independently arrive at and release a similar concept first. The term is inspired by the perceived rivalry and parallel innovation between Michael Jackson and Prince, and is often used to express urgency in executing creative work to establish originality and ownership.
