The eggplant is usually the child (The Eggplant) that resides with you, who is providing intel or information to the outside parent, the competition or anyone who wants to know what's going on in your home for various reasons. The reasons could be good, bad or indifferent.

Eggplant 

This is when the competition can access someone living with you, most times your children to report on what's going on in your home. This could be good, bad indifferent etc. It doesn't matter what "The Intel is" this allows them to stay one step ahead of you or steal or benefit from your ideas, inventions, purchasing habits etc. The child is usually tricked into this situation. The child is your (Egg planted). get it!
