rug day

A day where it's more efficient to stay at home than to go anywhere. Whether you need to catch some z's, finish the homework due that day that you didn't do, or to simply lay down (like a rug) and reflect on life.

Friend: "hey! I didn't see you at school today, is everything okay?"
Person: "yeah I'm okay! I just needed a rug day."
