Pinocchioed (verb)
pin·oc·chi·oed /pɪˈnoʊki.oʊd/
1. To be swallowed whole by a whale (or similarly enormous sea creature) and survive inside long enough to figure out an escape plan.
2. (Figurative.) To become trapped in an overwhelmingly large or seemingly inescapable situation but eventually escape through cleverness, persistence, or sheer luck.
Origin: From Disney's 1940 animated film Pinocchio, in which Pinocchio and Geppetto survive inside the whale Monstro before escaping by provoking it to sneeze.
