1: To lie about or deny the truth in any circumstance. To cover up or hide.

2: To manipulate or deceive someone for personal gain or notoriety.

3: To sue or bring suit against someone.
1. I honestly believed that I was supporting a legitimate charity with my hard-earned money, but it turns out that I fell victim to a con man. I got Lanced.

2: When it sounds too good to be true, you've probably been Lanced.

3: Joe said that if I breathed a word to anybody that he was stealing from his boss, he'd Lance me for libel.
