A random word that people in Gen Z may occasionally say, that has no specific meaning. It is typically said comedically to obtain laughter due to the randomness of the word. Despite the attempts to gain laughter, the word typically has no affect because random does not equal funny.
Person 1: "Hi! How are you doing?"
Person 2: "Obungus."
Person 1: "I know you think you are funny by saying that, but you aren't."
Person 2: "Obungus."
Person 2: "Obungus."
