Mertha

mertha is the non-sensical term made up by non-Jamaicans and confused for the word "murda" in the popular reggae song World a Reggae by Ini Kamoze. The term has nothing to do with anything Jamaican. It is used by non-Jamaicans to apply to the feeling you get when smoking the ganja and listening to reggae.

Ini Kamoze himself said the word in the song is murder.
