snupper

A port-manteau made up of the words, 'snack' and 'supper'. Snupper is an early dinner meal usually consumed on occasions when one will be occupied during the normal dinner hours and something more substantial than a snack is required for sustenance, but a full supper would be too heavy or inconvenient to prepare.
Chicken fried rice with vegetables is a great snupper because it has a protein, a starch, and vegetables, and it is enough to fill you up for a couple of hours but not too heavy to bog you down, and it is quick and easy to prepare.
