Omori Treatment

A phenomenon commonly observed in the indie video game space where a highly anticipated project is announced and raised incredible hype and/or backings from the community only to vanish into total radio silence for several years before resurfacing with a critically acclaimed complete product. The term originates from the development cycle of the indie horror game "Omori", which spent six years in silent development and delays before launching to overwhelming success.

I really hope that game gets the Omori Treatment instead of becoming a total vaporware.
