Scope Kiss

When the scope of a rifle "kisses" you after firing the weapon. It is caused by not having the stock of the rifle firmly held against the shoulder to mitigate the recoil upon firing a high-power firearm. The "kiss" is a cut around the eye in the shape of the eyepiece of the scope.
