26Gang (26G)

Also known as Two-Syxx Gang (the name comes from 2+6=8, with 8 representing “H” for Hyenas), 26Gang is a youth-based street clique from Detroit’s far northwest side. They’re considered a younger spinoff of the original Hyena Crips (H-Gang).

They’re most active in the Five Points neighborhood (ZIP 48219), especially around the 19200–19800 blocks of Five Points Street near West Seven Mile Road. Their territory runs roughly from Five Points Street (west) to Winston Street (east), and from Frisbee Street (north) down to West Seven Mile (south). Many members come from the Grandview Townhomes, but most activity happens along Five Points and in nearby Redford on Brady Street near the liquor store.
“26Gang (26G) sum yung goons, I thought the Hyena Crips was wild but these YNs a different breed, no cap.”—Detroiter
