Cranking
Used in some car theft circles for stealing cars with immobilizer programming tools. Taking someone else’s vehicle without permission and driving off with it. Often appears in car related social media posts. In this context, “cranking” means stealing the vehicle itself, rather than taking valuables from inside it.
