Pretending you know things you really don't know; or have done things you never did, just to seem cool to other people. Most people usually know better when they hear you talk.

"Last night I went to 3 really great parties, and all the coolest people were there!"

Friend: "stop jamalling, I drove past your house last night, and you were watching T.V. alone"
