B) Supports more than one team
C) Has never been to see their team

Common misconceptions surrounding Plastic Fans suggest that they might know very little about the club’s history. However, in an attempt to overcompensate their shortcomings as a fan they meticulously research their club’s history a lot. If someone had supported another club/s then switched to their local, they are still considered to be plastic. The television or a stadium tour is not applicable to seeing your club play. You may only switch teams if your current goes into liquidation or relocates away.

These are the rules to see if you are a plastic fan. If you adhere to any of the above rules, you are a plastic fan.
Person 1: Did you know Spurs were the first team to do the double in 1961
Person 2: You’ve haven’t been supporting them for long you plastic fan. Bet you’ve never been to a match
