To delay something and wait for it longer in hopes of a better outcome like you have to wait on a parlay to hit

1: what you doing man? why is it taking so long for us to leave the house?

2: man, I'm just parlaying it

1: Why can't we go out at 9:00?

2: we gotta parlay it
