A middle-aged South Asian woman. Derives from the words Desi (A synonym of Indian/South Asian) and mami (Hindi for aunt). They like to go for walks every evening and are often (though not always) kind of chubby.

Oh, the Desi Mamis are going for their walk now. It must be 5 PM.
