To disapprove of anything and everything even remotely related to fun, enjoyment, and laughter.

Friend: "Wanna come puddle jumping with me?!"
The Hafer: "Puddle jumping? What are you, three?"
Other Friend: "Dude, you're such a Hafer. Stop Hafering."
