The term "Linda Berry" is an alter ego of sorts; it is used when you would like to place the blame upon someone else for an action that you yourself have done but do not want to deal with the consequences of; scapegoat
I dodged that cheating contract that my teacher was going to give me by strategically pulling the Linda Berry card.
