Extending the "pointer" finger, the finger directly next to the thumb on each hand, moving it up and down vigorously between pursed lips while emitting a humming noise. The result is a sound similar to humming through a moving fan.

Timmy raised his finger to his lips and added his own humming to the joyous fibbilling group.
