When your niece or nephew becomes a parent, you become a great uncle, a gruncle.

My niece had a baby girl and now I am Gruncle Bob.

A great aunt. If your niece or nephew has a child, you become a grauntie.

Now that my nephew has three sons, I am a grauntie three times. Just call me Grauntie Carol.
