The highest abode. The divine abode of Purushottam Bhagwãn Swãminãrãyan, where He is forever seated before countless muktas, who have attained qualities similar to those of Akshar {Gadhada I-21}. The impersonal form of Akshar.
The Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha has created two beautiful Akshardhams, one in Gandhinagar and another in New Delhi on the banks of river Yamuna under the inspiration of HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Both of them are a must see.
Both of them are a must see.

It's comprised of two words 'Swami' and 'Narayan' where Swami is 'Ideal Devotee' and Narayan is 'Supreme God' Himself. This is a 'Bhakti' sampraday.
Bhagwan Swaminarayan established this sampraday so that every individual on this earth may attain salvation. At present the true saint following the principles of Bhagwan Swaminarayan is Pragat Brahmswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj. He is the head of BAPS - Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha.
