Pertaining to any thought(s) or idea(s) or problem(s) that causes an individual to devote an inordiant amount of time thinking or acting upon the aformentioned thought(s), idea(s) or problem(s). Mind viruses typically cause all other work to cease unless,
a. the idea is completely thought out,
b. the problem is solved,
c. interaction from an individual who has not been affected by the mind virus intervenes, or provides an immediate solution to the idea.

Mind virus are very contagious, especially in individuals who work in scientific, engineering or philisophical communities. Virus can spread via email, web pages, and word-of-mouth.

There is no absolute cure that is currently available in perscription or over-the-counter pills.
The ideas on creating a successful DARPA challenge vehicle entry caused many engineers to contract a mind virus.
