A Non-Black Proximal.
Someone who positions themselves adjacent to blackness in order to gain access to resources, power and or clout.
An NBP will often gain their cultural footing by sleeping with a black person of complicit nature, who initially grants them access to otherwise inaccessible spaces. Alternatively an NBP may surround themselves almost exclusively with black friends, as to further emphasize their own racial ambiguity.
