Like the JCR (
Junior Common Room) or MCR (Middle Common Room) in a
college, the ACR is the Asian Common Room, which comprises all orientals, since they tend to only interact among themselves.
Members of the ACR are known as 'Ackers' or sometimes 'Acres'.
