An overwhelming feeling of sensitivity triggered a close friend. If an acquaintance did the same thing to you, it really wouldn't bother you as much. But since it's a close friend, you cannot help but feel friendsitive.

Jane: "C',mon Sandra don't be so sensitive... it's not a big deal..."
Sandra: "are you kidding, we're best friends, and that's not cool - I'm feeling really friendsitive.
