Sifty

Not a real word, but a mispronounced version of Shifty. Shifty referes to somebody suspiciously looking about themselves as if to make sure they're not being watched.

"...and his sifty eyes were.."

Do you mean shifty!?

"Oh, yeah. Anyway..."
