Edward, rooted from "wuard", or " ward", depending on which language you reference, means "protector" or "to protect". Very gentle and quiet, an edward would tend to be more sensitive and emotional, knowing the value of sharing and dealing with your feelings vs holding them in. An edward also tends to be non-confrontational. Not out of fear for himself and his safety, but more out of caution the lengths he will go to be victorious, seeing as some of the worst people go out of their way to trouble him. Like magnets with opposite poles, brought together wether they like it or not. And seeing as to how knowledgeable they are about feelings, they also make exceptional romantic partners, always thinking of their significant other and wanting to keep them happy. But be warned, dispite his openness to others emotions, he may sometimes find it difficult to deal his own internal affairs. Almost hipocritical to the advice he gives others. Its very hard to keep a conversation with him, but if you keep him talking you may find yourself in a deeply interesting verbal exchange. In conclusion an edward is someone you probably want to keep around, as a friend or otherwise. His knowledge of emotions mixed with his calm, quiet, non-confrontationalism make for someone who is very easy to feel comfortable around. :)
