A small tree with aromatic leaves which are sometimes used for tea, supposedly native to New Zealand but it is scientifically unproven due to the New Zealand continuously stealing Australian thing's we may never know

Tasmania on the other hand it has been proven as the country of origin due to Dr Greg manuka Chappell On February 1 1981 however he actually found it in Melbourne at the MCG but took it to Tasmania it is the only time the flower has ever been at the MCG their is a superstition if a person born in New Zealand goes to the MCG On the first of February and whispers pavlova is really Australian then manuka will be 100% New Zealand
