A Internet Bestfriend is a friend whom you have made over the Internet or whom you know and you talk over social media but not in person, normally you are quite close with this person/people as why the term is called Internet bestfriend not internet friend

Holly:Omg I didn't know you and Harry were close?

Megan:Were not close in person we're internet bestfriends!
