The desire for an experience to last longer but confident in the realization that if it did last longer, it wouldn't be as perfect of an experience as it has been thus far. Ultimately leaving you with a bittersweet feeling of contentment.
I had a sense of desolution at the end of my cross country road trip. I didn't want it to end, but I knew that I had to get back to reality. I'm just happy I had the experience.
